His “15 Minutes” Not Same As Her “15 Minutes”

She says she’ll be ready to go in 15 minutes. 

It’s a lie. 

Not a malicious lie, but still false, so don’t count on it or you’ll blow a fuse.

After years of training, I’ve learned to ask her to “tell me when you start looking for your purse.”  When she gives me that word, without any rush, I know I’ll still have time to rise from my chair, shave, shower, dress and still beat her to the car.  It may seem a small thing, but trust me, it saved our marriage.
